About Pirmais Slēgtais Pensiju Fonds
Pirmais Slēgtais Pensiju Fonds is Latvia's third pillar pension fund, which offers the creation of additional pension income. The Foundation operates under the professional supervision of the Bank of Latvia.
Participants
Employees of shareholders' companies may participate in the fund, including employees of tees, Lattelecom, Latvenergo and other companies seeking additional pension income.
Aim
At the start of the project, the biggest challenge was to take over the existing system, which had accumulated technical problems, gaps and unworkable functionalities. The solution was unstable and complicated both the administration's work and user experience. The aim was to clean up the system, stabilise its operations and improve internal processes while providing a comfortable and secure environment for customers of the First closed pension Fund.
Solution
We conducted a full system audit and a gradual restructuring: fixed the technical errors and stabilized the operation of the system, we introduced a number of functionality improvements, automated processes to make everyday work easier for administrators and employees, we optimized data management and internal workflow. In 2024 in collaboration with SIA “OzolsIr”, we completely transformed the visual identity and user experience of the portal. The new design was developed in line with today's UX/UI principles, providing intuitive navigation, improved transparency and easy use for the foundation's customers. The result was the creation of a robust, transparent and user-friendly customer portal that meets today's digital standards.
