Custom solution for accessing educational materials
Challenge
Lielvārds is engaged in the development and distribution of educational materials and needed a new user-friendly platform. From the outset, it was clear that the issues faced by teachers, principals, and school staff in searching, selecting, and purchasing educational materials needed to be explored.
Solution
The project's task included extensive research into issues to understand the main challenges in the field of educational materials. Based on the research, we created a technical sketch of the website, which allowed for its visualization and the initiation of interface testing. Usability tests were conducted to ensure that the platform is user-friendly and fulfills the functions needed by teachers, principals, and school staff. For the development of Lielvārde's new platform, we used Laravel and Tailwind CSS technologies. Laravel is a popular programming language that allows for the creation of websites and applications with a flexible and secure core. Meanwhile, Tailwind is a CSS tool that facilitates website development with easy and fast styling.
