TVP research & design development

Extensive usability research and development of a unified UX/UI design for the state chancellery

Challenge:

TVP is the executive institution of the Republic of Latvia, which deals with the development of regulatory acts and other matters of national importance. The basis of the project was the need to combine the various national websites into a single design template to ensure consistency and accessibility for all users.

The biggest challenge was to study and understand the usage habits of a wide audience so that the solution is accessible and understandable to all. This involved extensive UX research, interviews, observation and technology research.

Solution:

To solve this task, we conducted a detailed UX audit and research, where we looked at the audience and analyzed the data. We developed an accessibility design concept with a unified UI identity for all national websites. This became our biggest UX project to date, with extensive research, interviews and user observation to understand how people use national websites.

We used a wide spectrum of technologies and approaches in development, including UX research, accessibility analysis, UX/UI design, responsive design and user testing. These approaches ensured that the final solution was tailored to all users and provided a consistent accessibility experience.

After the end of the project, the feedback from the client was very positive and the work done was highly appreciated.
